Yesterday was a real day of learning for me... Esp from Esther and through so called "toys" later on during the party held for my mom with her side of the family :)....

It was once again time to work with a great pal of mine.... ESTHER!! After 3 weeks of being away in London... So due to that, Auntie Wan Cheng had to take two months of Children ministry... And the whole point here is.... I now work with ESTHER!!!! So, after talking a bit on the phone a bit, and due to the fact that there was no captians' ball.. We decided to have a early lunch :).... So, we had lunch @ Hua Num, the usual meeting place... And there was a conversation I had with her among the many we had for that short 1/2 hr that reminds me of what I want in Life...

I had ordered a plate of fried rice while she ordered a bowl of noodles... If I type out her order in chinese.. It would be like super long lah.... but anyways, she asked if I wanted chilli with the rice.. And I told her: "Nah, cause I like things to be as simple as it is..." She replied jokingly, "So why not rice alone? Maybe with salt or soya sauce? Haha.." And I told her...

"Though I don't put anything extra in it, it doesn't mean that I like it plain... Though I like things simple, it must have some flavour in it... If not its really not really worth it isn't it?"

You know, life need not be complicating.. Need not be fully packed with activities like CCA or Play... It can be very simple things like just spending time at your window... Looking out and enjoying the scenery and thinking about people, things in life for hours, and hours... A life such as this.. Can be very enjoyable.. Well, for me that is :), just like a plain fried rice... :).. A little bit of flavour in life is more than enough... and that flavour for me comes for God and everything he does for :)..... THANKS GOD!!!

I really like to just spend time with people like over tea or coffee juz chatting and knowing each other better.. And I like have this list with all the people I wanna do that with... And I must say isn't short man... Haha..At least one name is off... Thats ESTHER!! HAHA... (Duh..) There is just so much catching up with others... But ah well, lets wait till their exams are over...

Ok, now we go onto the birthday party... I had enjoyed spending time with my cousins, esp Grace!! Like my little sis I never had, man I wouldn't mind if she is my sis lah... :P... ANYWAY (Back to main topic), I picked up a a puzzle box, you know those type of boxes where they have 6 sides and 6 colours and you have to make one colour on each side... Its structure is actually rather simple, 9 sqaures per side, 6 ways to move and shift the coloured sqaures... The possiblities?... Endless...

Its like Life... We all have a common goal... To live life to its fullest extent and reach its maximum - Or in this case, To live life the way we want it.. The routes that we take? There is just no end to that amount... Some of us reach that goal... Some don't... But whats most important for me, is not really how we start, or how we really end... Cause how we start does not determine where or how we end... And how we end would be determined by mere choices we make... So the most important thing to me.. (This sounds so like a famous quote used by many... LoL)...

The process in which we make choices.

When we make a right choice, we enjoy and bask in the moment of triumph... Yet wait with anticipation for the next important decision that we might face, and pray that we are able to make the right choice...

When we make a wrong choice, we morn for the losses made... And suffer the consequences.. But from that, learn from experiences.. Learn to move on and wait... Wait for the next time we make an important decision that we might face, and pray that with this experience gained,
able to make a better choice...

This is the beauty of life that I enjoy..
