Trip to Rome... ; 10:51 AM
Hello!! I'm back!! It was great man!! The trip and all so today I'll
(again) will be typing alots.....
Rome was amazing! We (as in my family) walked all over the central part of Rome without taking bus or anything ( ok, all but the shuttle bus back to the hotel which was near the airport). We went to the colosseum, Roman Forum, capitol hill, St.Peter-In-Chains church and two other churches- that was the first day. All the Churches were like WOW in their building structure, so big yet so beautiful and the Roman colosseum and Forum was like walking through a distant past where the buildings still remained...And that reminds me, We walked 6 hours that day all
WITHOUT THE CAMERA because my dad forgot to put it in... But we went back to these places on the third day so its ok. Their food there is so good, all the pizza, pasta, and especially the gleato!! (Ice-Cream!!) I was eating it for all the three days I was there until I got sick of it, but it was so good!! Anyway on the second day we went to
again many places, We went to the Vatican City (where we met the Pope), Vatican museum, The Sistine Chapel (amazing!!), Trevi Fountain (real big), The Spanish steps (where I ate Gleato again), Emmanuel (242 punishing steps up) and we spent 12 hours of walking around there before heading back to the hotel. When we thought we had seen it all on the first day, we were wrong. The churches were even more amazing here... You'll see why on the pictures above. Finally on the third day we went to the Holy Steps where I kneeled all the way up to the top, a little taste of what Jesus had to go through. And every step I made, I said a prayerof thanks to every attribute in life that he gave me, peace, mercy,etc... a total of 28 steps up, it wasn't easy but I made with my kneecaps purple in colour.... Rome, a city of the past, a society of the morden world....
I'll think I end of with a dream (day dream) I had for you all in Rome....
I was watching myself run across the alley way into this club, as if I was late. When I went into the club, I run backstage but I could not see what was happening for I was at the entrance. Soon, the band came out, and guess what, I'm the basist! WOW!! Joachim was beside me carrying his electric guitar and Matthew was the drummer. Then Joachim started off with his guitar solo... and after a few bars, Wen Xin came with you know those kind of Rock Star outfit
(black leather jacket, black leather pants, those kind of stuff...) and starts singing Kelly Clarkson "Since U been Gone" jamming the whole club. Then the sence changes (with the song still on) to Wen Xin and Joachim where they form a duo (vocalist and guitarist together) and do it as a living. Then we come back to the club where the song changes to "Behind these Hazel Eyes" then we focus on Matthew and me. We help out with the band even though we cannot be constantly be there because we go back to our old school to teach our juniors, Matthew is his BB band, whereas my is the CO. Then after Wen Xin was done with "Behind these Hazel Eyes", she takes the surpporting vocalist as Eunice comes out to takes main vocalist with Hilary Duff's song "Fly". Eunice also helps out in the band whenever she has the time, for she has become a classical vocalist(even though she also sounds nice in Rock). Once she finishes with "Fly", Wen Xin and Eunice both sing this song "Breakaway" which is being played now. Then the sence is being shifted to a soft ball team, made out of Annabel, Angela, Victora, Jeanette with some other people who are humble and nice. We all go together to see Andre and Debbie. Andre became a professial painist who works together with Eunice in the classical aspect. He also writes songs for the band with Debbie. And together, Jeantte brings us for lunch before church. In church, all of us dressed in white come to stage and form to the church choir.......
Well, here's a little something for all of you, the song "Break away", as long as you are willing, you can do it......
